From the NZIMRT President
Seasons greetings from myself and the rest of the Board of Directors. Well my first few months as president have been fairly busy! We held a successful conference planning meeting in November to develop guidelines, timelines and templates for conference committees. Hopefully this will make planning conference much easier for anyone wishing to do it in the future!
It sounded like many departments had a great world radiography day, with much fun reported including some fabulous boobie biscuits which I had the pleasure of seeing some photos! The money raised for the Kiribati effort will be much appreciated and we must thank Beryl Kelly for her efforts and help with this.
Things on the board agenda for the coming months include moving forward with an advanced practice working group and trying to get the modality groups up and running again.
I wish you all a merry Christmas and a fabulous and safe new year!
